Serving the Association of Regina Realtors

I am very excited to announce that in early December, I was elected to the board of the Association of  Regina REALTORS®.

Community service has always been important to me – I have also been on the board of the Regina International Fringe Theatre Festival – but this seemed like a good opportunity to do something for the profession in which I earn my living.  I am completely looking forward to the opportunity I have ahead of me to gain industry knowledge and board experience.  I am also extremely excited to try and drive change locally and nationally for myself and my peers.

The Association of Regina REALTORS® seeks to advance our profession in our community. REALTORS® are highly regulated and we provide the services and programs that help our members meet and uphold our professional standards. We protect the right to own and transfer property and deal with the regulatory matters involved. We also manage the business of the association.

It is a gratifying opportunity to give direction to this organization. I hope to be an advocate for my colleagues and serve the people buying and selling real estate. It’s going to be an interesting two years, but I invite the challenge whole heartedly!
