☀️ Make the Most of Summer in Regina: Local Events, Walks, Patios & More!

Summer has finally arrived in Regina, and that means it’s time to soak up the sunshine, take in some live events, and enjoy the best that our city has to offer. 🌞 With long days and warm nights, now is the perfect time to explore, connect, and experience what makes Regina such a great place to call home.

Here are a few of my personal favourite summer activities in Regina — all guaranteed to help you make the most of the season. 🌻

🏈 Catch a Game – Riders & Red Sox Action!

Supporting local sports is one of the best ways to enjoy a classic Regina evening.

📍 Saskatchewan Roughriders
There’s nothing quite like a game at Mosaic Stadium — hands down one of the nicest stadiums in the CFL! The Saskatchewan Roughriders, our province’s only professional sports team, are a beloved staple in the community.

🏟️ Game day at Mosaic is electric, especially when the Riders are rolling — and they’re looking strong this year. Mark your calendars for the Labour Day Classic against Winnipeg — a highlight of summer in Regina you don’t want to miss!

🚶‍♀️ Take a Walk – Explore Regina’s Trails & Green Spaces

We all know Regina summers fly by, so why not slow things down with a peaceful walk through one of our city’s many parks or trails?

🌳 A.E. Wilson Park
This underrated gem follows the scenic Wascana Creek and is ideal for a sunset stroll or a quiet morning walk.

🏞️ Wascana Lake Loop
This classic Regina walking route wraps around the beautiful Wascana Lake and offers views of the Legislative Building, the waterfowl, and lush green surroundings.

🥂 Pro tip: Stop in at Bar Willow on the east side of the lake for refreshments, good eats, and patio views that can’t be beat.

🍻 Hop Circuit – Discover Regina’s Craft Beer Scene

Love local brews? Regina’s craft beer community is thriving, and the Hop Circuit is a fun and unique way to experience it all!

🗺️ Grab a map from any participating brewery, including:

🍺 Pile O’ Bones
🍺 Rebellion
🍺 Malty National
🍺 District Brewing
🍺 Copperhead
🍺 Bushwakker Brewpub
Stamp your way through each one, sample award-winning beers, and claim your prize at the end! 🎉
